Rigoni di Asiago Nocciolata La Dark hazelnut spread

Nocciolata La Dark is an organic, dairy-free hazelnut and cocoa spread produced by the Italian family-owned company Rigoni di Asiago. The brand's history dates back to 1923, when Grandmother Elisa Rigoni began a commercial honey-making business on the Asiago Plateau in Northern Italy. Over the decades, the family expanded their expertise from honey to organic fruit preserves and eventually hazelnut spreads, launching the Nocciolata brand in 2008.

The product is manufactured primarily in Italy at the company's state-of-the-art facilities. Since 2017, a dedicated production line for Nocciolata has been operational in Albaredo d’Adige near Verona, while the company headquarters remain in Asiago. While some raw fruit ingredients for other product lines are sourced from the company's own organic farms in Bulgaria, the manufacturing of the final spread takes place in Italy. Rigoni di Asiago remains a family-led enterprise, currently managed by the third generation of the Rigoni family, maintaining a strong commitment to organic and sustainable production practices.
