The wine is crafted by Bodegas Monte la Reina, a family-owned estate that combines historical tradition with modern viticulture. This specific bottling is made from 100% Verdejo grapes, a variety that thrives in the high-altitude continental climate of Castilla y León, resulting in aromatic and fresh profiles often characterized by citrus and tropical notes.

The product originates from a vast agricultural estate that features a 19th-century Neo-Gothic castle, which now serves as a boutique hotel and a center for wine tourism.
