Nørregade Tyggemåner candy

Nørregade is a storied Danish confectionery brand with roots dating back to 1924, when it was founded by Martin Olsen. The brand is renowned for its traditional hard candies and sweets, often recognized by its iconic striped packaging. One of its popular products is Tyggemåner, which are caramel-flavored chewy candies with a distinctive yellow coating.

In 2010, the brand was acquired by Michael Spangsberg, the entrepreneur behind Spangsberg Chokolade. Today, Nørregade is part of the Spangsberg Chokolade A/S portfolio. While the brand carries the name of a famous street in Copenhagen, the large-scale production of the blue-branded Nørregade sweets takes place at a modern facility in Taastrup, Denmark. This ensures that the brand's long-standing traditions of craftsmanship are maintained using contemporary production methods.
