ELIT Roasted Peanuts are a popular snack product originally from Bulgaria. The brand is produced by ELIT-P EOOD, a company founded in 2003 in Plovdiv. Although the packaging indicates the raw peanuts in this specific batch originated from Nicaragua, the final roasting, seasoning, and packaging are performed at the company's facilities in Bulgaria.

Since 2012, ELIT-P has been a key subsidiary of the Penelopa Group Holding, a major Bulgarian agricultural and food processing conglomerate. Interestingly, the Penelopa Group was one of the first nut distributors in Bulgaria; its original brand, 'Penelopa', was so successful that it was acquired by PepsiCo in 2008. Following that sale, the group restructured and acquired ELIT-P to continue its leadership in the nut and dried fruit market under the ELIT brand name.
