Following its success, Mannafrutti was introduced in 1995 as a variation using semolina pudding instead of rice.

The products are primarily manufactured in Sweden. The dairy base (rice or semolina) is produced at Orkla Foods Sweden's facility in Örebro, while the fruit sauces are typically prepared at their plant in Kumla. The brand uses Swedish milk and cream as core ingredients.
