Lustenauer Senf is a prestigious Austrian mustard brand with a history dating back to 1911. Founded by Richard Bösch in Lustenau, Vorarlberg, the brand has remained a family-owned business for four generations. It is celebrated for its traditional production methods, which include using stone mills to grind mustard seeds and maintaining recipes free from artificial preservatives.
In recent years, the company has emphasized ecological sustainability, opening a new production facility in 2024–2025 built with domestic timber and featuring a biodiversity green roof. While the mustard seeds are sourced from both Austria and Ukraine, the entire manufacturing process—from milling to filling tubes and jars—takes place at their headquarters in Lustenau, Austria. The brand remains under the direct ownership of the Bösch family, specifically Stefan, Denise, and Felix Bösch as of 2026.
