Nidar Stratos Milk Chocolate

Stratos is one of Norway’s most iconic chocolate brands, first introduced in 1936 by the confectionery company Nidar. The product is famous for its unique aerated texture, which creates small air bubbles within the milk chocolate, resulting in a light and airy consistency often marketed with the slogan "Bobler av glede" (Bubbles of joy). The blue packaging and the characteristic blue cow mascot have become synonymous with the brand over many decades.

Stratos is manufactured at Nidar's historic factory in Trondheim, Norway. Nidar was founded in 1912 and grew to become Norway's largest chocolate producer through various mergers and acquisitions. Today, the brand is part of Orkla Confectionery & Snacks, which is a major division of the Orkla Group. Orkla is a leading industrial investment company and supplier of branded consumer goods to the grocery, out-of-home, and bakery sectors in the Nordics, Baltics, and Central Europe.
