Askey's Treat Toffee Flavour Sauce

Askey's is a historic British brand that has been a staple of the UK's ice cream culture for over a century. The brand was founded in 1910 by Laurens Tedeschi, an Italian immigrant who is credited with introducing the ice cream cone to the United Kingdom. Originally trading as the Premier Biscuit Company in London, the family eventually changed their name to Askeys to better fit the British market.

Over the decades, the brand underwent several ownership changes, including a period under Kellogg's starting in 1965. In 2004, it was acquired by The Silver Spoon Company, which is a subsidiary of the global food giant Associated British Foods (ABF). While Askey's was long associated with its manufacturing facility in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, production was moved in 2020 to a specialist third-party manufacturer in Essex to utilize more modern and efficient facilities. Today, the brand remains under the ownership of Associated British Foods, a diversified international food, ingredients, and retail group headquartered in London.
