The Moulinex Optimo 60L is a high-capacity electric countertop oven designed for versatile home cooking. The brand Moulinex was originally founded in 1932 in Alençon, France, by Jean Mantelet, who became famous for inventing the 'Moulin-Légumes' food mill. For decades, Moulinex was a symbol of French domestic innovation, revolutionizing the kitchen with products designed to simplify housework.
In 2001, following financial difficulties, Moulinex was acquired by Groupe SEB, a major French multinational consortium and world leader in small domestic equipment. While the brand remains deeply rooted in French heritage and its design and engineering are often led by French teams, high-volume electrical appliances like the Optimo oven series are primarily manufactured in China. This production is typically handled through Groupe SEB's extensive manufacturing network or its subsidiary, Supor, which operates some of the world's largest small appliance factories.
