Druvan Hovmästarsås

Druvan Hovmästarsås is a classic Swedish mustard-based sauce, typically served with gravlax or seafood. The brand Druvan has a rich history dating back to 1874 when Dr. Per Håkansson began producing spirit vinegar in Eslöv, Sweden. Over the decades, the brand expanded into a wide range of condiments, including mustard, oils, and specialized sauces.

In 2011, Druvan was acquired by O. Kavli AB, the Swedish subsidiary of the Norwegian Kavli Group. The production remains localized in Sweden, primarily at the facility in Eslöv where the brand originated. The ultimate owner of the brand is the Kavli Trust (Kavlifondet), a charitable foundation based in Norway that owns the entire Kavli Group and reinvests its profits into humanitarian and research projects.
