Jarritos is an iconic Mexican soft drink brand founded in 1950 by Don Francisco “El Güero” Hill. The name translates to "little jugs," paying homage to the traditional clay pitchers used to serve aguas frescas in Mexico. The brand is famous for using natural fruit extracts and real cane sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup.

While the brand was originally independent, it was acquired in 1983 by Embotelladora Mexicana S.A. de C.V., which is part of the Consorcio Aga group. Today, the brand remains 100% Mexican-owned by the Garciarce family through Consorcio Aga. All Jarritos beverages consumed globally are produced in Mexico to maintain the authentic flavor profile. In international markets like Denmark, the product is imported and distributed through specialized beverage companies.
