Frisk breath mints

Frisk is a globally recognized brand of sugar-free breath mints, originally developed in Belgium in 1986. Created through a collaboration between a Belgian entrepreneur and a pharmaceutical company, these intensely flavored micro-mints were initially distributed through pharmacies before gaining widespread commercial success, particularly in Japan where they became a market leader.

In 1995, the brand was acquired by the Italian confectionery giant Perfetti, which later merged with the Dutch firm Van Melle in 2001 to form Perfetti Van Melle. Today, Frisk is managed as a key international brand within the Perfetti Van Melle portfolio, which also includes Mentos and Chupa Chups. While its roots are Belgian, manufacturing occurs across various global facilities to serve over 150 countries. The product's iconic packaging—ranging from slide-top dispensers to metal tins—remains a hallmark of its design-focused identity.
