Kleine Schätze (Little Treasures) is a premium own-brand label by the German discount giant Aldi Süd. Launched in early 2020 as part of the 'Natur Lieblinge' line, the brand focuses on selected, high-quality fruit and vegetable varieties that offer superior taste and appearance compared to standard discount produce.

The tomatoes and other fresh produce under this label are sourced from son-drenched regions worldwide to ensure optimal ripeness and aroma. Depending on the season, these tomatoes are typically cultivated in Mediterranean countries like Spain, Italy, or Morocco, as well as in greenhouse facilities in the Netherlands or Germany. The brand emphasizes sustainable packaging, often using FSC-certified cardboard instead of plastic.

Aldi's history dates back to 1946 when brothers Karl and Theo Albrecht took over their family's grocery store in Essen. The company split into Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd in 1960. As a private label, Kleine Schätze remains under the ultimate ownership of the Albrecht family through the Aldi Süd group.
