The Philips MLED810 is a high-performance 4K Mini-LED television part of the 2025 product lineup. It is characterized by its use of the P5 Perfect Picture Engine and Titan OS smart platform, offering advanced contrast and brightness through QD Mini-LED technology. While the Philips brand carries a long Dutch heritage, the television division operates under a unique licensing and ownership structure.
Today, Philips-branded televisions are developed, manufactured, and marketed by TP Vision, a company headquartered in Amsterdam. TP Vision is a wholly owned subsidiary of TPV Technology Limited, a global electronics giant based in Hong Kong. This transition began in 2012 when Royal Philips (Koninklijke Philips N.V.) spun off its struggling TV business to focus on health technology.
Manufacturing for the European market, where the MLED810 is primarily sold, is centered in Poland, specifically at a major production facility in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Other global markets may receive units from TPV’s various manufacturing hubs across Asia and South America. Despite the change in ownership, the products maintain the classic Philips design aesthetic and innovative features like the Ambilight system (though specifically absent on this entry-level Mini-LED model) that the brand is known for.
