Dynacord Professional Audio Equipment

Dynacord is a prestigious German brand with a history dating back to 1945, when it was founded by engineer Werner Pinternagel in Pilsting. Originally starting as a radio repair shop, the company evolved into a leading manufacturer of professional audio electronics, including legendary tube amplifiers and echo units. Throughout the late 20th century, the brand expanded its reach globally, becoming synonymous with German engineering excellence in the pro-audio industry.

In 1990, the company was acquired by the American firm Telex Communications, which was subsequently bought by the Bosch Group in 2006. Under Bosch's ownership, Dynacord's engineering and manufacturing remained deeply rooted in Straubing, Germany, where it operates one of Europe's largest dedicated audio testing facilities.

In a significant shift for 2025 and beyond, Bosch sold its professional audio business unit—including Dynacord and its sister brand Electro-Voice—to Triton Partners. The brands now operate under the newly formed Keenfinity Group. While much of the high-end engineering and production continue to take place in Germany, manufacturing for various components and specific product lines is distributed across global facilities within the group's network.
