Ownership of Cuétara has transitioned through several major food groups. In 2008, it was acquired by Nutrexpa. Following the split of Nutrexpa in 2015, the brand became part of Adam Foods, a company controlled by the Ventura family. As of 2026, Adam Foods continues to own and expand the brand, maintaining its status as a leader in the Spanish biscuit and cereal market while pursuing international growth.
