Albal Papel vegetal

Albal is a leading brand in the European household packaging market, specifically known for its aluminum foil, cling film, and baking paper. The brand name itself is a portmanteau of the French words 'Aluminium' and 'Emballage' (packaging). It was originally launched in 1965 by the French industrial group Péchiney.

Today, the brand is owned by Cofresco Frischhalteprodukte GmbH & Co. KG, which was established in 1996 as a joint venture between the German Melitta Group and the American company SC Johnson & Son. Since 2014, Melitta Group has held 100% ownership of Cofresco. While the brand has deep roots in France and Spain, its products are manufactured in various European locations to supply the Western European market.
