Vitasnella mineral water

Vitasnella is a prominent Italian brand primarily known for its low-sodium natural mineral water and a range of functional health-focused beverages. The brand's mineral water is sourced from the Vitas spring located in the heart of the Lombard Alps, specifically at Darfo Boario Terme in the province of Brescia.

Originally developed under the French multinational Danone, Vitasnella underwent a significant ownership transition. In 2012, the Italian group Ferrarelle S.p.A. fully acquired the Vitasnella brand for the water and beverage category after having been a licensee since 2005. Today, Ferrarelle S.p.A. (a certified Benefit Company) manages the bottling and distribution of Vitasnella water and its 'Le Linfe' functional line at their specialized facilities in Italy. Interestingly, the brand name is shared in a co-branding arrangement where Ferrarelle owns the water rights, while Danone continues to use the Vitasnella brand for its dairy products (yogurts and cheeses) in Italy.
