Diversey is a historic brand primarily recognized for its leadership in the hygiene, infection prevention, and cleaning solutions industry. Founded in 1923 in Chicago, USA, by August and Herbert Kochs, the company was originally established as a division of Victor Chemical Works. Over the past century, the brand has undergone several ownership changes, including periods under the Molson Company, Unilever (as DiverseyLever), and S.C. Johnson (as JohnsonDiversey).

In 2023, Diversey was acquired by Solenis, a leading specialty chemical producer, in a transaction valued at approximately $4.6 billion. Solenis itself is a portfolio company of the global private equity firm Platinum Equity. While the brand is famous for industrial cleaning products, it also produces promotional items such as the stationery shown in the image. Manufacturing for such items and its broader chemical portfolio is conducted across a global network of facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia.
