Gucci's eyewear collection is managed by Kering Eyewear, a specialized division of its parent company. While the majority of Gucci's optical frames and sunglasses are meticulously crafted in Italy to uphold the "Made in Italy" heritage, specialized collections involving titanium or high-tech components are often manufactured in Japan, known for its expertise in precision metalwork.

In 1999, Gucci was acquired by the French luxury conglomerate Kering (formerly PPR). Today, the brand continues to lead the luxury market under Kering's ownership, maintaining its status as one of the most valuable and influential fashion labels in the world as we head into 2026.
