Landliebe is one of Germany's most recognizable dairy brands, traditionally associated with rural quality and high standards. Originally established as a premium label by the 'Südmilch AG' in the 1970s, it significantly shaped the German dairy market with its iconic glass jars and fruit yogurts.

Following several corporate shifts, the brand was part of the Dutch cooperative FrieslandCampina for many years. However, in recent years, the ownership landscape changed significantly. As of 2023 and continuing into the future, the Landliebe brand, along with its core German operations, was acquired by the Müller Group (Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller).

The production predominantly takes place in Germany, utilizing local milk supplies. The brand's identity continues to focus on natural ingredients and traditional recipes, even under its new ownership by the Luxembourg-headquartered Müller Group.
