Gears of War: Judgment is a third-person shooter video game developed by People Can Fly and Epic Games. The brand originated in the United States, originally created by Epic Games.

In 2014, Microsoft acquired the rights to the entire 'Gears of War' franchise from Epic Games. Consequently, the brand is currently owned by Microsoft (specifically through its Xbox Game Studios division). While the IP is American, physical manufacturing of game discs and packaging occurs in various high-tech manufacturing hubs worldwide including Mexico, the USA, and Singapore depending on the regional distribution needs.
