Kelme athletic apparel and footwear

Kelme is a historic Spanish sportswear brand founded in 1977 by brothers Diego and José Quiles. Originally established in Elche, Spain, the brand gained global recognition for its high-performance athletic gear, particularly in professional football (soccer) and cycling.

In recent years, the brand underwent a significant shift in ownership. Since 2018, Kelme has been primarily owned and operated by the Jinjiang Yuanxiang Garments Weaving company based in China. This transition has led to a global expansion strategy with a strong manufacturing base in Asia. While the brand retains its Spanish identity and heritage, its modern production and ultimate corporate control are now centered in China.
