In 2012, the brand was acquired by Jugos del Valle, which is a joint venture between the Coca-Cola Company and its bottling partners in Latin America (Coca-Cola FEMSA).

Manufacturing primarily takes place in Mexico, specifically at dedicated dairy production facilities such as those located in Lagos de Moreno, Jalisco. These plants are designed to maintain the ultra-pasteurization standards necessary for the shelf-stable products sold across North America. Today, Santa Clara operates under the umbrella of The Coca-Cola Company, serving as their flagship dairy brand in the Mexican market, combining traditional Mexican dairy craftsmanship with modern global logistics and distribution networks.
