Maggi seasoning and noodles

Maggi is one of the world's most recognizable food brands, known primarily for its instant noodles, bouillon cubes, and liquid seasonings. The brand traces its origins back to late 19th-century Switzerland, where Julius Maggi pioneered nutritious, quick-to-prepare vegetable-based meals to improve the diets of working-class families. Following its early success, the company expanded rapidly across Europe and eventually became a global staple.

In 1947, Maggi merged with the Swiss multinational Nestlé, which remains its ultimate owner today. Due to its massive global footprint, Maggi products are manufactured in dozens of countries across nearly every continent, including major production hubs in India, Malaysia, Germany, Brazil, and Nigeria. This localized manufacturing approach allows the brand to tailor its flavors—such as Masala in India or Shrimp in West Africa—to specific regional palates while benefiting from the global supply chain and quality standards of Nestlé.
