Pfanni is a German brand synonymous with potato products, most famous for its dumplings (Knödel). Founded in 1949 by Werner Eckart in Munich, the brand revolutionized home cooking in postwar Germany by introducing powdered potato products that saved time and effort.

Today, the brand's production is primarily centered in Stavenhagen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, where it sources local potatoes. Since 1993, Pfanni has been a part of the Unilever portfolio, which acquired the brand from the CPC International group. It remains a market leader in the potato-based convenience food sector in German-speaking countries.
