Nocilla is Spain's most iconic cocoa and hazelnut spread, first launched in 1968 by the Spanish group Starlux. It was created as a competitor to international spreads, quickly becoming a staple of Spanish breakfast and snack culture through its memorable marketing and distinct texture.
In 2002, the brand was acquired by Nutrexpa. Following a corporate demerger in 2015, Nocilla became part of Idilia Foods. Today, the brand is known for its palm-oil-free recipe and its expansion into various formats, including cookies, ice creams, and diverse flavor varieties. The product is primarily manufactured in Parets del Vallès, Barcelona, Spain.
