Dallmayr Prodomo is one of Germany's most prestigious and traditional coffee brands, originating from the historic Alois Dallmayr delicatessen in Munich. The brand's history dates back to the 18th century, though it gained significant fame in the early 20th century as a purveyor to the Royal Bavarian Court. The Prodomo blend, introduced in the 1960s, remains their signature product.

Manufacturing takes place primarily in Germany, where the company operates its own roasting facilities to maintain strict quality standards. The brand manages the entire process from sourcing Arabica highland beans to the final packaging stage.

Dallmayr remains an independent, family-owned enterprise. It is currently managed by the Randlkofer and Wille families, who have maintained the company's heritage while expanding into a global luxury brand known for high-end food and beverages. Unlike many large coffee brands, it has not been acquired by a multinational conglomerate.
