Iodex is a long-standing brand of topical analgesic ointment, originally developed for pain relief and inflammation. The 'Cristal' variant is specifically marketed in various Latin American regions. Historically, Iodex was developed by Smith, Kline & French. Over several decades, through various mergers and acquisitions involving the parent companies, the brand became part of GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
Following the 2022 demerger of GSK's consumer healthcare division, the brand is now under the ownership of Haleon. Haleon is a global leader in consumer health, headquartered in the United Kingdom. Manufacturing occurs in various international facilities to serve local markets in Central and South America.
