Metaflow

Metaflow is an open-source framework designed to help data scientists build and manage real-life data science projects. It was originally developed at Netflix to solve internal challenges related to infrastructure, allowing practitioners to focus on modeling while the framework handles data orchestration and cloud infrastructure management.

In 2021, the original creators of Metaflow founded Outerbounds to further develop the platform. While Metaflow itself remains an open-source project hosted on GitHub, its primary commercial backing and direction come from Outerbounds, which is headquartered in the United States and supported by various venture capital firms.
