Yogi Tea originated in the United States in 1984, inspired by the herbal tea recipes of Yogi Bhajan. The brand is deeply rooted in Ayurvedic traditions and organic ingredients. While the brand has American roots, its European operations are highly centralized in Germany and Italy.

The Christmas Tea, like many of their organic blends for the European market, is manufactured in Italy at their facility in Imola. The brand is managed by East West Tea Company, LLC in the United States, while Yogi Tea GmbH oversees European distribution and production from Hamburg, Germany.
