While its historical roots and corporate headquarters remain in the United States, manufacturing has shifted over the decades. The primary manufacturing facilities are located in Mexico and China, following the closure of its longtime Milwaukee production plant in 2024 to optimize global supply chain efficiency. Master Lock remains the largest global manufacturer of padlocks and related security products.
