Quality Street is a iconic selection of individual tinned and boxed toffees, chocolates, and sweets. The brand was first introduced in 1936 by Harold Mackintosh of Mackintosh's in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. Its name was inspired by a play of the same name by J.M. Barrie.

Today, Quality Street remains a staple of British culture, particularly during the festive season. While the brand has global distribution, the vast majority of its production continues to take place at the original Halifax factory in the United Kingdom.

Ownership of the brand transitioned to Nestlé in 1988 when the Swiss conglomerate acquired Rowntree Mackintosh. Since then, Nestlé has maintained Quality Street as one of its flagship confectionery brands, overseeing its production and international marketing strategies while preserving its traditional British heritage through the iconic purple tin design.
