Fürst Bismarck is a historic German beverage brand with roots dating back to 1906, named after the famous statesman Otto von Bismarck. The mineral water is sourced from the Bismarck-Quelle in Aumühle near Hamburg. Historically, the spring was a gift from Emperor Wilhelm I to Otto von Bismarck.
Today, the brand is part of the Hansa-Heemann group, which is a major player in the German mineral water and soft drink market. Since 2021, Hansa-Heemann has been owned by the Dutch Refresco Group, which is one of the world's largest independent bottling companies for retailers and A-brands. The production of the Wellplus Balance+ line, which blends mineral water with calorie-reduced fruit flavors and extracts like ginseng, continues to take place at specialized bottling facilities in Germany.
