Brooklyn Brewery beer

Brooklyn Brewery was founded in 1988 by Steve Hindy and Tom Potter in Brooklyn, New York. It became a pioneer of the American craft beer movement, known for its iconic Brooklyn Lager. The brand is deeply rooted in the culture of New York City and maintains its flagship brewery in Williamsburg.

While its origins are independently American, the brewery has entered into significant strategic partnerships to expand globally. Since 2016, the Japanese brewing giant Kirin Holdings has held a minority stake in the company. Internationally, the distribution and manufacturing of Brooklyn products are often managed through collaboration with the Carlsberg Group, which handles production for European and Asian markets. In the United States, production is split between their Brooklyn site and contract facilities like F.X. Matt Brewing Co. to meet demand.
