Amora is an iconic French brand that has been a staple in French kitchens since its founding in 1919 by Armand Bizouard in Dijon. Known primarily for its mustard, vinegar, and sauces, the brand has built a legacy focused on the authentic taste of Dijon mustard.

Today, Amora products are primarily manufactured in France, specifically at the historic production site in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, near Dijon. Although the brand remains inextricably linked to its French heritage, it is currently owned by the British multinational consumer goods company Unilever. Unilever acquired the brand in 1999 as part of its purchase of the Amora-Maille group, ensuring its global distribution while maintaining its local manufacturing roots in the Burgundy region.
