Mariestads is a prominent Swedish beer brand with roots dating back to 1848 in the town of Mariestad. Originally established as Mariestads Bryggeri, the brand has become one of Sweden's most recognized premium lagers, known for its traditional brewing heritage.

Today, the brand is owned and produced by Spendrups Bryggeri AB, one of Sweden's largest independent breweries. While the original brewery in Mariestad closed in the late 1960s, the production was moved to Spendrups' facilities in Sweden, primarily in Grängesberg. The alcohol-free version shown here is a popular extension of the brand, reflecting modern consumer preferences for high-quality non-alcoholic options while maintaining the classic malt profile.
