Gille Stora hjärtan Pepparkakor

Gille is a well-known Swedish brand specializing in cookies and ginger snaps (pepparkakor). These 'Stora hjärtan' (Large Hearts) are a classic holiday staple in Scandinavia. The brand originated in the late 1960s in Örkelljunga, Sweden, where the production continues to this day under the company Gilleberget, now part of the Continental Bakeries group.

Today, the brand is owned by the Belgian group Bisquiva (formerly Continental Bakeries), which in turn is part of the Cérélia Group since 2022. Despite the international ownership, Gille maintains its Swedish heritage, with the majority of its products still baked in Sweden using traditional recipes.
