Beavertown Brewery was established in 2011 by Logan Plant in the kitchen of Duke’s Brew and Que, a barbecue restaurant in De Beauvoir Town, London. The brand quickly became an icon of the UK craft beer scene, known for its distinctive psychedelic artwork and flagship offerings such as Neck Oil Session IPA and Gamma Ray APA.

Following a period of rapid growth and the construction of a massive brewing facility in Enfield known as 'Beaverworld,' the brand underwent a significant ownership shift. In 2018, the global brewing giant Heineken purchased a minority stake in the company to fund further expansion. By September 2022, Heineken N.V. acquired the remaining shares of Beavertown, taking full ownership of the brand.

Today, while the brand maintains its creative roots and London-based headquarters, its manufacturing and distribution are integrated into the global operations of the Dutch multinational. Most of its production remains centered in the United Kingdom to serve its primary market.
