Nicorette QuickMist is a fast-acting nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) designed to help smokers manage cravings by delivering nicotine through the mouth's lining. The product featured in the image is labeled for the Nordic markets (specifically Denmark and Iceland), indicated by the Danish and Icelandic text on the packaging.
Historically, the Nicorette brand originated in Sweden at the University of Lund and was developed by Leo AB. For decades, the brand was a major piece of the Johnson & Johnson portfolio. However, in 2023, Johnson & Johnson completed a spin-off of its consumer health division into a new independent company called Kenvue. Consequently, Kenvue is now the ultimate owner of Nicorette.
Manufacturing for Nicorette products is heavily centered in Helsingborg, Sweden, where the original development took place. While production may occur globally to meet logistical needs, Sweden remains the primary hub for its development and manufacturing.
