Julbo is a heritage eyewear brand originally founded in 1888 in Morez, France, within the Jura region known for its optical craftsmanship. While it began by creating corrective lenses, it quickly pivoted to high-altitude protective eyewear, becoming a leader in mountaineering sunglasses.

Starting in 2022, the brand reached a new milestone when it was acquired by the Envision Group, an American company. Today, production remains centered in Europe, with significant manufacturing facilities in France and Romania, maintaining its reputation for technical precision and high-performance sports optics.
