Läkerol is an iconic Swedish brand of sugar-free pastilles, first introduced in 1909 by Adolf Ahlgren in Gävle, Sweden. The product gained international fame for its distinctive 'A' stamp and its reputation for soothing the throat and freshening breath.

Historically, the product was manufactured in Gävle for over a century. However, following a series of corporate acquisitions and restructuring, the primary production was moved to Levice, Slovakia, around 2014 to optimize the supply chain. Today, the brand is owned by Cloetta, a leading European confectionery company headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, which manages several of Scandinavia's most beloved confectionery labels.
