In 2008, the Marbo Product company, including the Salto brand, was acquired by PepsiCo. This acquisition integrated the local brand into one of the world's largest food and beverage portfolios. As a result, Salto is now ultimately owned by PepsiCo, headquartered in the United States, which continues to leverage its global logistics and marketing expertise to maintain the brand's market position.
