Proper Popcorn

Proper (formerly Propercorn) is a British snack brand founded in London in 2011 by Cassandra Stavrou and Ryan Kohn. The brand was built on the mission of creating a 'guilt-free' snack using natural ingredients and creative seasonings. It quickly became one of the fastest-growing independent snack brands in the UK, known for its colorful, illustrated packaging and health-conscious positioning.

In 2021, Proper merged with the snack brand Eat Real to form the 'Proper-Real' group. The majority of the business was acquired by the private equity firm Exponent Private Equity. Despite this corporate evolution, the brand maintains its creative identity and continues to manufacture its popcorn products primarily within the United Kingdom to serve the European market.
