OCB, which stands for Odet-Cascadec-Bolloré, is a brand with roots dating back to 1822 in Ergué-Gabéric, France. Originally a paper mill on the banks of the Odet River, the company evolved into a global leader in smoking papers and accessories.

Today, OCB products, including these slim filter tips, are primarily manufactured in France, maintaining their historical legacy of European production. In 2000, Don Levin of the American Republic Tobacco Group acquired a significant stake in the brand, and it is now ultimately owned by Republic Technologies International. While the brand has French origins, its global distribution and ownership now sit under the umbrella of a major international smoking products group based in the United States and France.
