Clesa is a historic Spanish dairy brand that has been a staple in Spanish households for decades. Originally founded in 1943 by the architect Segundo Puentes in Madrid, the brand eventually became part of the Nueva Rumasa conglomerate.
Following the collapse of the previous parent company, the brand was revitalized when it was acquired by the Agrupación de Cooperativas Lácteas (CLUN). Today, it is primarily produced in Caldas de Reis, Galicia, using milk sourced from local Galician cooperatives. This ownership structure ensures that the brand remains deeply rooted in Spanish agriculture and cooperative industry.
