Green & Black's is a premium chocolate brand established in London, United Kingdom, in 1991 by Craig Sams and Josephine Fairley. The founders named the company after themselves (Green representing organic ethics and Black representing the intensity of the chocolate). The brand gained international recognition for pioneering fair-trade and organic certification in the confectionery industry.

In 2005, the brand was acquired by Cadbury Schweppes, which later became part of Kraft Foods. Following a corporate spin-off in 2012, Green & Black's became a subsidiary of Mondelēz International. While the brand carries a strong British heritage, much of its production for the European market has shifted to Mondelēz facilities in Poland, though it maintains a global supply chain for organic ingredients like cocoa and vanilla.
