Moser Roth is a premium chocolate brand with a rich German heritage dating back to 1841. While it was once an independent luxury confectioner in Stuttgart and one of the largest chocolate factories in Germany during the early 20th century, the brand underwent significant changes after World War II.

Today, Moser Roth is established as an exclusive private-label brand for the discount retailer Aldi. The chocolate is manufactured by the German confectionery giant August Storck KG, which is also behind famous brands like Toffifee and Werther's Original. Produced primarily in German facilities, the product maintains a reputation for high-quality ingredients, such as Fairtrade-certified cocoa, while being distributed globally through Aldi's network.
