Quely is an iconic Mallorcan brand with roots dating back to the 19th century, specifically starting in 1853 when the Fontanet family began producing 'biscuits for sailors' in their bakery in Inca. These dry, crunchy biscuits were valued for their long shelf life, making them ideal for long sea voyages. The brand 'Quely' was officially registered in 1970 and has since become a household name in Spain.

Today, the manufacturing is still centralized in the original town of Inca in Mallorca, Spain, maintaining a strong connection to its regional heritage. Despite its global reach, the brand has remained a family-owned enterprise, preserving traditional recipes while modernizing its production lines to include various flavors, chocolate-coated snacks, and breadsticks.
