Indomie is a world-renowned brand of instant noodles, most famous for its 'Mi Goreng' (fried noodle) line. Based on the packaging and the barcode (prefix 599, traditionally linked to Hungary for European distribution packaging), this product is part of Indofood's global supply chain. While the brand was originally founded in Indonesia in 1972 by Sanmaru Foods, it has since become a global staple.
Today, Indomie is manufactured by PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk across numerous factories in Indonesia, and it also operates production facilities in markets like Nigeria, Turkey, and various Middle Eastern countries to meet international demand. The brand is owned by the Salim Group, one of Indonesia's largest conglomerates, which oversees the entire production process from wheat milling to finished noodle packets.
